PC Problems!?

My computer keeps saying that my JavaScripts are turned off, but I just went and downloaded the latest version! If I wanted to go play a game on like yahoo or pogo, it wont let me because it keeps saying it is turned off... Does anyone know how to turn it on, or to get it to stop saying that it is turned off?
