Should i drill holes for re bar to attach driveway to house slab. & do i need exspansion joint?

Yes. Use #5 rebar @ 24" O.C. imbedded 8". Install asphalt board as expansion joint and install cardboard sleeves to allow horizontal movement. The rebar dowels will help with the vertical movement.
