Would taking my temp help at this point?

I'm on cd 43. I took 2 hpts, one at cd 34 and one at cd 40, but BFNs. I'm so confused, my bbs are sore and my cervix is high and medium soft. If I were to start taking my temps tomorrow monring and took them for a few days would this give me any info at this point? Or should I just wait for af and test in a week if no af?
