American Idol... WTF?

So the two best friends that came together ones name was Danny Gokey and I don't know the other guys name but I didn't see him on the top 36 which means he got cut? How could they keep that horrible girl Tatiana or that dumb guy who thinks he is funny being Norman something over him he was a EXCELLENT singer.
