Can somone help me with this?? i cant think of anything?

First, you need to read an editorial. You are at a serious disadvantage if you do not. Every newspaper has an "Opinions," or "Op Ed" section that contains the editorials. An editorial is basically an essay, or opinion piece, written to express one's particular views about a current or contemporary topic. These topics can run the gamut on anything that interests anyone. For example, there have been editorials about steriods in sports, whether the war in Iraq is proper/improper, whether puppy mills should be banned, whether the death penalty is racially biased, etc. Now that you know what an editorial is, and what some topic ideas are, go to NYtimes.com and read one. Maureen Dowd writes some great ones. Good luck and have fun.
