Quicker in basketball?

A really good way to get quicker and stronger legs is to "sit" on a wall. Back against a wall and bend down your knees as if you are sitting. Then put your arms strait out. Sit like that for about 1 minute then take a 30 Second break. Repeat this about 6 times before you use a stair Climber. I know it hurts but resist the pain and don't give up.
